CRANE MAT LANGUAGE:

We have created a crane mats language to easily identify what you are looking for. Here is the formula; first start with the thickness, example a 12” mat, second is the width, example 4’, third and lastly is the length of the mat, example 16’ all of which results in a 12” x 4’ x 16’ crane mat.

Crane mats are one of our specialties. If we offered these in a restaurant they would be a daily special. We make the best mats in the world; at least we think so, LOL. What makes us different from our competition is we have the ability to manufacture any mat configuration you may need.

SIZES:

Standard size Douglas fir mats include the following; 12” x 4’ x 16’, 12” x 4’ x 20’, 12” x 4’ x 24’, 12” x 4’ or 5’ x 30’. We can make 6” thick – whatever thickness you desire (X) whatever width (X) up to 100’ in length.

INVENTORY:

We try to regularly house a few hundred mats at a time of 12” x 4’ x 16’ and/or 12” x 4’ x 20’. We know mats are the last item on the jobsite so we have the inventory to cover your @$$. Call us to get a current inventory. Phone should work; I think we paid the bill last month. Keep calling, it will eventually go through.

USED MATS “GRADED”:

Used mats are new crane mats which have been used. I know you’re going, “No $h*!,” but it gets a little deeper than that. The wear and usage per mat determines the quality of each mat which is categorized in 3 grades; “A” grade – still in excellent condition with minimal cosmetic damage, “B” grade – still a good mat with cosmetic damage, “C” grade – this guy has been run over quite a few times, literally but has a couple more uses out of it. Pictures are available upon request.

ENTRY / RAMP / TRANSITION MATS:

Hence the name, these mats are used to transition from ground level up onto the trestle, crane mat dance floor, or whatever you are transitioning onto. Standard size is 2”-12” taper x 4’ x 16’. Custom sizes available.

RENTAL / BUYBACK PROGRAMS:

We also rent crane mats and offer a buyback if our money tree is producing at the time, LOL. We are easy to work with, just tell us what you are after.

LONGEVITY:

We treat the ends of our mats which increases the life of them. We also do a few other little things to increase the life of them but it’s our secret and we can’t tell you. Ask anyone who has used our mats and they will tell you they are the best mats they have ever used.

3rd PARTY CRANE MAT INSPECTION:

1. A couple months prior to completing the job, we will get somewhat of an inventory, look at the site on google earth and setup the site for inspecting the mats. Prepping the mat site, we will figure how to stack the mats to make the grading efficient as well as setting up the reloading of the mats by grouping them with minimal effort for reloading. We have been constructing Crane Mats for over 30 years and the same principles apply for unloading and loading in our yard as they do on your jobsite. We are experts at it.

2. We have designed a program that minimizes your effort and maximizes your return on the crane mats. As you know, huge chunks of money may be lost or given back to the person or company buying back the mats. With us inspecting the mats, you will see everything we see and that relays over to your vendor providing the mats. Everything is on the up and up.

3. We will provide a loading sheet of what mats and how many mats of each size will fit on each truck. Let us do the work for you.

4. At the end of each year you will save thousands or hundreds of thousands by using us.
